Wedding make-up. Correct the face flaws
Your wedding day … Surely you imagined it in the smallest detail, you must have been irresistible in these dreams, and your fiance was proud and admired you. On your wedding day, every step you take will be captured, and therefore it is important to look great throughout the day. Makeup on the day of the celebration is a very delicate matter. To look beautiful and unique, you need to bring it to perfection, but it is important not to overdo it – makeup should look natural, and your face should be recognizable.
Use of cosmetics
Cosmetics are applied in a certain sequence. The first, to protect the skin of the face, is applied day cream. It is necessary to let it soak, and blot excesses with a napkin. Then, starting from the center of the face, apply foundation cream along the massage lines. Pay attention to the zone of the hairline, the area near the ears and in the chin area – there should not be white stripes. Liquid tonal bases are perfect for oily or aging skin, and tonal powder or tonal cream powder – for inflamed skin with rough pores. The skin toner should look natural and give the skin a matte finish, making it smooth and even.
Powder is applied over the foundation. When choosing a powder, be sure to consider the skin tone, as well as the color of the tonal foundation. The powder mixture is suitable for any tonal base and is applied using a large round brush from top to bottom. Compact powder is applied using a flat cosmetic sponge, rubbing it into the skin with light circular movements.
Of course, you can not do without blush. Blush needs to be selected to the natural color of hair and skin. When using foundation, it is best to opt for cream blush, because they perfectly connect to the base and last a long time. In order for the blush in the form of a cream or foam to lie evenly, first apply a few small dots, and then quickly and accurately rub with your fingers. Dry blush is applied with large flat or round brushes. Apply blush in several steps and in small portions.
In addition to general recommendations for applying cosmetics, there are certain tricks to help correct certain facial features. For example, in order to visually narrow the round face, the cheeks are covered with powder of a darker color, and the blush in the form of a triangle on the cheekbones. In order to soften the corners of the square shape of the face, we tint the unfolded corners of the lower jaw with dark powder, and apply dark blush to the cheekbones in the form of triangles elongated towards the temples. Owners of a triangular shape of the face can balance its upper part, applying dark powder to the temples, cheekbones and the sharp part of the chin, and blush in the form of a rhombus on the front surface of the cheeks. To correct the trapezoidal face in order to visually reduce the volume of the lower part, apply dark powder to the sides of the lower jaw, and blush on the cheekbones in the form of a rectangle, feathering the temples. Darkening the lower part of the chin and the upper part of the forehead in combination with the horizontal application of blush on the middle of the cheeks will allow you to adjust the elongated face, and by darkening the protruding parts of the diamond-shaped face, and applying blush on the front of the cheeks, avoiding the cheekbones, you can achieve a stunning effect.
Highlight the eyes
Pay close attention to eye makeup. For it, you will need shadows, a liner (eyeliner) and mascara. Before applying eyeshadow, you need to lightly powder your eyelids. Shadows must be applied from the middle of the eyelid, gradually increasing the intensity to the outer corner of the eye. The remains are shaded on the inner half of the century. Light shadows are applied earlier than dark, matte before brilliant. With dark shadows, we deepen the fold located above the movable eyelid, and the darkest we put on the ciliary edge and the outer corner of the eye.
If you want to emphasize the eyes, make them larger and more expressive, sweep the lower eyelid with a thin brush, using shades of brown or golden tones. Draw a line under the brow along its bend with a light cosmetic pencil, blend with your fingertip, and draw a thin, continuous line from the inner to the outer corners of the eye along the upper edge of the eyelashes with a pencil or liquid liner. The skin on the upper eyelid can be pulled with two fingers, and to cope with the drawing of the outer corner – slightly pull up. The stroke should repeat the shape of the eye, but if used correctly, it can help to correct it. If the eyes are rounded, then the line should be drawn just above the outer corner of the eye; with lowered corners of the eyes, it is better to pull the line up to visually increase the distance between the eyes; the line should start from the middle of the century, gradually expanding it.
Mascara is applied in two layers: first a white polymer base that allows you to highlight and lengthen each eyelash, then a black coating to give volume and expressiveness to the eyelashes. Brush for eyelashes and eyebrows on the painted eyelashes. Eyebrows need to be shaped and tinted, if necessary.
